Ashtanga Mysore
Mysore Style is the traditional way Ashtanga yoga is taught, from teacher to student in a semi private lesson. Students progress at their own pace with guidance and assistance from the teacher. Anyone can start an Ashtanga practice, regardless if you have years of yoga experience or none at all. This practice will enable you to build strength and flexibility, while being accommodating and suited to everyone’s individual needs. Read more here.
Primary series
A guided class that works through a set sequence of postures called “Primary Series”. Also called “yoga chikitsa”, primary series is both therapeutic and invigorating. This is a challenging class including: sun salutations, standing and seated postures, backbends and inversions.
Yin + Meditation
Yin Yoga is a cooling, relaxing practice that is complementary to the more rigorous styles of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Class consists of gentle movement with mostly floor poses, held for 3-5 minutes each. Yin poses allow us to work deep in the connective tissue, creating fluidity and building connection to the softer aspects of practice. The room will be at a comfortable, moderate temperature with props available.
